Lysistrata is an ancient war comedy that was originally written by Aristophanes, in 411 BCE. The setting takes place in ancient Greece. Lysistrata, an Athenian woman, gathers the women of the Greek city-states to make an oath of celibacy until the Peloponnesian War is over! Their husbands come home with a full erection only to find their wives denying sex. LGA presents their version of Lysistrata to the Ark-La-Tex. LGA’s aim is to present educational and entertaining performances. Introducing our audience to early comedy, culture, and politics!

The performances will take place on March 23rd and 24th from 6pm-10pm. Pre-sold tickets are $15; tickets at the door are $20. Tickets may be purchased from EventBrite by clicking here.
