Tickets go on sale Monday, February 4 for Stage Center’s School of Performing Arts production of School of Rock the musical, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Glenn Slater, and a book by Julian Fellowes, based on the Paramount movie by Mike White. Jared Watson & Maddison Gilcrease co-direct and choreograph, with musical direction by Mary Kate McLaurine & Seth Taylor.

Rock got no reason, rock got no rhyme…You better get me to school on time! School of Rock, based on the hit movie, follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight–A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. But can he get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school’s headmistress finding out? Andrew Lloyd Webber has composed 14 new songs for the show, which additionally features all of the original songs from the movie. School of Rock, with its sensational live kids’ rock band, is a loving testimony to the transforming power of music.

The all-student production has two alternating casts. 36 students are RAINE ARSENAULT, EMORY BLOUNT, NATE BOKENFOHR, EMMA BURNEY, FINNEGAN COLLINS, DOMINIC DESHOTEL, RACHEL EVANS, FORDHAM HAMMOND, PATRICK HAYNES, SAGE JOHNSON, SOPHIA JOHNSTON, EMERSON JONES, SKYLANN JOUSMA, CLAIRE KEVIL, MIA KIIHNL, ELIZABETH LEE, SARAH LORD, BELLA MAINIERO, LUCAS MAINIERO, McKENNA MARANTO, DANI McADAMS, JILLIAN GRACYE McCOY, MADELINE MULLINS, JAYDEN NORWOOD, GRETCHEN OLAH, CADE OSTERMEYER, CHRISTIAN PERKINS, PARKER RALEY, COLIN RIMSKY, LANDON ROBINSON, TABITHA SONNIER, SARA SOUTHERLAND, PATRICK THOMAS JR., VIVIAN VEKOVIUS, LEILA WALKOVIAK, ZANE ROBERT WYSS
